October 20, Auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Piazza d'Armi, Cagliari, Italy. The event has been opened by the keynote speech by Gary McGraw (Ph.D. Vice President Security Technology, Synopsys, Silicon Valley): “Seven Things: Frank Zappa, T. Coraghasen Boyle, and Twenty-one Years in Security”. Then, three talks focused on the most recent trends in Application Security research. The event has been closed by a round table on Women in Application Security, and with the award ceremony for the DOGANA graphic-literary competition.

We are finally ready to communicate the winners of the competition "Contraband Pixels & Texts / Pixelettere", chosen from the shortlist of finalists selected on the DOGANA project blog, and based on the below scores, as described in the competition announcement:
- A score from 0 to 10 assigned from each member of the jury based on quality, relevance and form of the artwork (short story and / or comic strip), up to a total of 0 to 30 points.
- 0 to 10 bonus awarded to artworks received in both languages (Italian and English) by evaluating the translation effectiveness.
- 0 to 10 bonus awarded for exceptional popularity (likes and shares).
